THERE IS NO SUCH BREED AS A MINIATURE POMERANIAN, OR TEACUP POMERANIAN.
There is no such recognized breed as the teacup Pomeranian,
miniature Pomeranian or any other name that implies that the Pomeranian is smaller
than the "normal" breed. A breeder, may however, use this name simply because the public is used to it, but still give
you a healthy, normal Pomeranian.
The only real and recognized breed
is simply the "Pomeranian". Pomeranians are small enough! No one needs a unethically bred miniature Pom. Dog breed shows only allow natural and recognized dog breeds. To make sure that you are obtaining
a real Pomeranian, you must find a reputable, honest Pomeranian breeder so that you do not fall into the trap of
purchasing a dog that should not exist.
The very unethical and sickening method that bad breeders
will implement is to find two runt Pomeranians and force them to breed together to create a miniature Pomeranian. This
can produce puppies that are much smaller than nature intended. These puppies may have severe health issues.
They can have underdeveloped organs, diabetes, thyroid problems and more. Anyone who buys or is the gift recipient
of one of these Pomeranian puppies is giving a helping hand to the sick and disgusting world of unethical breeders. If
you were not aware, and already have a miniature Pomeranian such as this, have him or her checked out at the vet ASAP.
Keep regular veterinarian checkups and keep on track with your dog's health. If you are looking to buy a Pomeranian,
take your time to find a good Pomeranian breeder.
